Chris retired from working in the Navy with 21 years of service in 1991. After the Navy, Chris then worked at a few various jobs helping to support his family until he found a job working at one many say was his true calling as a service technician for a local fitness company "Carolina Fitness Equipment". After "Carolina Fitness Equipment" closed, Chris was asked to join the new company as a service tech. Chris then helped to establish the standards for the Service side of the "Superior Fitness Systems." Chris has a total of over 15+ Years experience repairing and maintaining Fitness Equipment.
Chris has dedicated his various careers to providing unparalleled service. Chris offers stellar repair and maintenance by going above and beyond the typical service technician mentality. The honesty that Chris provides as a service technician has helped to build clients trust for life.
Finally with years of persuasion from customers, friends, family, and neighbors, and the negative outlook of the business "Superior Fitness Systems" Chris Tickell decided to start his very own company. Chris decided to keep the name similar to the previous company "Superior Fitness Systems" that he had built the majority of his business relationships with. The name that Chris came up with for his company is "Superior Fitness Service."
Superior Fitness Service offers thorough repair, and have been trusted upon by many top name companies to be certified and qualified to repair their equipment. We have established many relationships most brand name Fitness Vendors. We offer service for most major brands, as well as many less common brands. The company is based locally out of Hampton Roads.
The types of equipment we are able to service are, various cardio equipment, treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, rowers, steppers, as well as strength equipment, etc. We are able to repair and service fitness equipment for local residential customers, and are able to offer service contracts for local gyms, and government agencies.
